Cocaine is a new energy drink. The inventor is obviously trying to tie the drink into it's popular illegal counterpart.
I got my sweaty little hands on a can of this stuff. It's been in NYC for a while, but pretty hard to come by in Ohio.
It's the weirdest damn drink I have ever had.
Pop the top and lets start this adventure.
Initial taste is a bit cherry. I swigged it and was curious was the hype was about. After it swirled around i my mouth a bit I swallowed it.
Then the fun began.
You get this weird burning sensation in the top back of your throat. It's sorta like a cross between achohol burn and tabasco sauce. It's a mighty weird sensation. So weird I have to repeat myself over and over.
After you get past the odd throat burn it fades and then you start to get a bit of a tingle or a numbness in your throat.
It's at this point you wonder if you should be drinking this stuff. I had to almost force myself to take another gulp just because I was tired and this was my way to get refocused, good tasting or not. About half way through the can I noticed my attention was right back on track and I absolutly had to start doing something. The most obvious choice was to write a horrible article about it for my site.
So here I am, explaining the effects and taste of the newest craze of 2007, Cocaine energy drink, all hopped up on a can of it, typing like a fool and becoming less and less grammatically correct as I go.
With 280+mg of caffeine in this little serving, it's no wonder my throat burns and my eyes are spinning. I frequently drink a Redbull before bed with no ill effects, but I absolutely see a difference in my brain right now after drinking this can.
If you are a big fan of the energy drinks this is something you have to try if not simply for the experience. Make sure you are not off to bed or plan on sitting around though, you will absolutely get a jolt from this stuff.
If could get more of this stuff, I would buy it. It looks like it's going to be available for purchase via the website , and in major retail stores the first part of 2007.
