 Me and Melissa went to Niagara falls a few months back.
I gotta say it was a ton of fun. We took a extra day off from work and used the weekend to find time to get out of town for a while. We saw my grandmother and stopped off for various sites and foods.
We bought the expensive, "you are a tourist so lets screw you" package and was able to see pretty much everything Niagara has to offer in one day.
I saw the falls when I was a REALLy little kid, but mostly from the free spots. This time around we went into, under and around the falls so it was that much cooler for me.
